Though we all want to be noticed

Top: Ebay Skirt: H&M Shoes: New Look Necklace: New Look Bracelet: New Look
First off all, walking into a New Look store is dangerous. I think about 90% of my wardrobe is made up of New Look. I was actually looking for a blazer on top of this dress. Didn't find anything, but I found this necklace, and this one! I saw this on a blouse, fell in love with it, and I already know what outfit I want to debut that necklace with. I'm going to be moving to Malta soon, where are 2 bigger New Look stores, and I'm going on a mission. I need jumpers, a specific peplum top and a specific pair of trousers which I've been hankering for!
This e-bay top is such an amazing find. If I'm not mistaken, Topshop did tops like these, and I found an exact dupe of them on ebay, for a TINY fraction of the price! It's lovely! I woke up thinking that I would wear my vertical striped blouse, realized it was too hot and then found this top! I'm really happy with it :) I thought it looked really cute, and it definitely needed a little something something, so on this collar goes! I'm planning on wearing this collar with a lot of things, especially to spice up a couple of basics. That is what statement necklaces are for.
Pretty much I've been living in these 'flatforms' which I bought specifically for school. They are insanely comfortable, and I can't be bothered with heels in this heat. It's Autumn, and its still boiling!
AND side note: That ciabatta sandwich was ENORMOUS. I could barely manage half of it before I was completely stuffed!

Like roses who're hiding their thorns

Dress: New Look | Cardigan: Piazza Italia | Necklace: New Look | Shoes: Centra Moda
Last Thursday my boyfriend's friend was getting married and as soon as he mentioned that we had a wedding to attend, I knew what dress I could wear. I have had this dress since last Winter. It was on sale, down from 30 euros to 15 and I picked it up on a whim because it just looked so gorgeous. The only problem was that it was too nice just to wear it for a random Saturday night out. I thought I could either wear it out to dinner, or an occasion.
The hair was something I've been tempted, and once attempted to do. The teased parts fell through, but 1. I did not use any hair spray. 2. I needed to tease quite a bit to make it last. Bouffant hair, is my current favorite hair style. It is very classy, without being over the top. It's the more subtle sister of the beehive. I felt very inspired by Edie Sedgwick in her early days :)
What I wanted was a bouffant with a side ponytail and the pony tail to have slight waves in it... the waves however dropped. Now seeing as my hair is naturally curly and wavy, its a bit weird that this happens. But oh well! I think its because a straightener was used to create the waves, and no amount of hair spray would hold it. I was very pleased with this look and it looked perfect with my cat eye sunglasses which I just can't seem to take off.
I couldn't find a blazer to go with dress, no matter how much I tried, so at the last minute without even trying it on, I popped by Piazza Italia JUST IN CASE there was something that would go in there. The store was a total mess, clothes everywhere, and I was THIS close to getting out of there. But then I saw a bundle of cardigans, 'neatly' laid out, grabbed a gray cardigan and a black cardigan and I was out of there!

Blame it on the Boogie

A month ago I posted about my current favorite palette: Call it Boogie. I actually forgot about the Hey Sista Soul Sista Palette, but then was browsing through my Essence Goodie Bag, found it and thought hey! I need to swatch this! I remember when I saw this in the store I thought that it looked way too similar to the Call It Boogie palette and didn't buy it. I got it for free at the event and when I compared the two.. the only similar eyeshadows were the light blue and pink. And they're not even exact dupes of each other! But they look too similar to each other in the palette.
I think you can also see that I use the Call It Boogie palette a lot. Its got dents in the colors which I don't even have in other eyeshadows! I use the light color and the brown eyeshadow a lot. My only regret is that I didn't buy a backup, and now the collection is out of stock. Oh well :(  It also lasts pretty damn long even without a primer, even after 6-8 hours in our beyond hot climate! In the Hey Soul Sista palette the pigmentation of the yellow shade is virtually non existant. That was after about 5 swipes trying to get some sort of pigmentation and then failing to get any pigmentation, I swiped it using the wet technique. And that's what I got. Non existent pigmentation. It's just one bad eyeshadow out of ten, in a palette that costs just 3.30 euros.
Do you have any eyeshadows or products that you just grab randomly when you're in a hurry?

And now we all fall down

Top: New Look | Skirt: Jennyfers | Shoes: New Look | Sunglasses: New Look
My boyfriend and I went to McCafe, because most cafeterias were closes on a Sunday morning. Really D:?! Anyhow, we had blueberry muffins, which are to die for and strawberry frappes THEN we took these pictures a little while afterwards. I was actually wearing a spike bracelet and cross earrings. The cross earrings like every single pair of earrings I own 'caused an allergic reaction on my left ear so I took them off, and then I forgot to put the bracelet on again after lunch so jewellery free outfit!
This was also the blouse that made me go a little crazy at New Look, and a couple of days ago I popped by and bought some new things, including... OWL SLIPPERS.

Dream until your dreams come true

Blouse: Miss Selfridge | Skirt: Mum | Cardigan: New Look | Shoes: New Look

I wore this outfit last Saturday slightly differently than how I'm wearing it here.. but as I didn't have a chance to take a picture of the outfit that day, I modified it to suit a day time/less dressed up kind of look! I actually wore these shoes. I hadn't worn them in ages, and whilst trying to choose a pair of shoes I could wear.. those just popped out to me! I tried to do a bouffant hairstyle, which sort of worked, but it didn't hold up very well, and it wasn't as big as I would've liked it to be. Think Edie Sedgwick kind of bouffant! If anyone has any tips and trick as to how to do this hairstyle, please share! Sometimes, I lose myself in constantly wanting things, and wanting to have the latest must haves, that I feel frustrated and very lost when it comes to style. I don't always have a great deal of time to post outfit pictures, but I am obsessed in how to style this and that. Like I suppose most of you are. Trying to find things that work in your wardrobe, with the occasional purchase is fine, but trying to make yourself broke in order to satisfy that inner craving is just insane. We're all guilty of it~
I actually wore the skirt in this post as well. What I'm trying to do these days is cross off the items in my wishlist and hopefully let it reduce to just a few items. Which is where my post title comes in~
Hoped you liked this outfit :D

Birds flying high

Do you remember the MAC Shadesticks? Back in the day...I think they're discontinued now. But I remember when I used to watch panacea81 I was obsessed with getting shadesticks! Never got them, but years later I got what you could call dupes for them. The Catrice Limited Edition Coolibri Eyeshadow Pens. Bit of a mouthful lol. The gold one is called Precious Nectar, the blue one is Birds Flying High and the green one is Virgin Forest. Well they're not really dupes, but something that essentially reminds of the Shadesticks! I did use these on their own with no eyeshadow on top, and they are pretty pigmented and blendable. What did happen was that they creased, but then blend it all again, and it doesn't. So maybe it might've been because I didn't blend them enough. The gold shade just seemingly was a glitter after I blended it, so don't really recommend it unless you're into that kind of thing.
I did actually like these quite a lot, they're creamy, blend easily and just look nice. It depends how you use them I guess. You could use them as a liner other than using them as an overall eyeshadow. Just depends on your taste :) I tried combining the three to see how they would go, and they did make quite a nice combination. Hope you liked this~
